2013 Law Scholars Visiting Program:

Hosted by UNESCO Center for Peace
Engage in a 10-day comprehensive overview of the U.S. Legal System with fellow law
students, lawyers, practitioners and scholars from around the world! The program includes
several working sessions with a Judge, State Attorney practitioner, local lawyers, and a
regional Bar Association in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Additionally, attendees will have
the unique chance to visit and observe the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Congress, United
Nations Headquarters in NYC and much more!

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Visit to the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School
Visit to the University of the New York University School of Law
A working session with a Judge on the crucial role of the Judge in a modern society
A working session with a Prosecutor on the role of a prosecutor in a Justice System
Visit to the U.S. Supreme Court
Working session with a Washington, DC metro area regional Bar Association
Visit of New York & Washington, DC
Meeting with a reputable Law Firm in the Washington, DC metro area
Attending one Broadway Show in New York.
