We know the members of the archaic or traditional political class of Haiti.
We know about the oligarchy.
We know the International community is often dividing us and always play a controversial role.
We know the Minustha does not care about Peace and Progress of Haiti.
We know anybody can take thousand of people to the streets if they can afford it, but they can't really steal their vote if we have free and fair election.
We know the majority of Haitians truly want change...
We know innocent Haitians are dying every day due to diseases, violences or other bad living conditions...
We know the environment is deteriorating due to deforestation and negligence...
We know Aides and Donations will never resolve the problems of Haiti.
We know more money is not the solution.
We know lack of transparency, credibility, corruption, and accountability are among the worse cases...
We know lack of structures and practical laws and/or their serious enforcements are the basic for the repetition of many systematic political and social injustices in Haiti...
We know the exclusion of the Haitian diaspora is a real dilemma!
We know most Haitians are willing to work and make a difference if they were given the opportunity...
We know the Justice system is broken.
We know the Police is working with very small resources and dealing with challenging obstacles...
We know most people are profiting from the current statu quo while others simply want to replace them using old lies...
We know no leaders acceding to Power in Haiti can make a true difference without goodwill and call for unity and hard work.
We know the Country needs an establishment that can ensure proper balance and protect the people after the Revolution...
We know real change will take time and very hard work.
...WE DO KNOW ALL WE NEED TO KNOW!
So what's stopping us from standing up and take our Country to a new direction???
Are we scared?
Are we waiting for a miracle that must happen on it's own?
Have we just gave up while enjoying the whining?
Can we bring change only through debates and dialogue?
How long can we suffer and watching our Country being humiliated?
How long can we live like reactionaries?
Is it simply a matter of timing?
Why so many excuses?
When does enough is enough?
There is reason to believe that this small Country with a very heroic history does not have a lack of leadership. However, why so many players calling themselves leaders?
Isn't it time for them to accept the fact that a leadership role in such chaotic country requires dedication and all necessary goodwill in order to tackle the main issues, knowing that so many Haitians need help because they are so vulnerable.
The world need to stop watching and using Haiti as a laboratory when all experimentations are possible. If we consider the recent earthquake that killed over 300,000 people in Haiti on January 12, 2010, and the most recent cholera outbreak in the month of October where over 2000 people died in less than 2 months; and over 80,000 of them infected...the insecurity of this nation is becoming more and more dangerous for all the nations.
There is no win in enjoying taking Haiti as an example of failure or calling her the poorest Country in the hemisphere. The problems are real, and most of us know the practical solutions.
Haiti is not an independent Country for years and the so called Countries or International Organisations friends of this Country, or sharing paid memberships with her through specific treaty or agreements, need to show more proof of their willingness to help, instead of playing games all the time, and getting richer through chaos and poverty.
Haiti development is becoming inevitably less difficult with a growing diaspora of over 3 millions informed individuals who love their motherland and the available technology and communication tools that are allowing us to be closer, and reducing delays when it comes to getting things done efficiently.
Good intentions are all around, the citizens of this Country became even more aware and involved after the devastating earthquake... Why not use this spirit to bring them together and celebrate peace.
The success of one Country should be the success of all Countries.
Poverty and instability create big challenges that always go beyond borders!
